Is the door off its track?
Questions
Can I push the door back into the track myself?
No. An off-track door still hangs on tensioned springs and cables, and pushing on it can bring it down. Unplug the opener and call (925) 272-7700.
What knocks a door off its track?
A car backing into the door, a cable that lets go on one side, or worn rollers jumping out of a bent track. Running the opener on a crooked door bends the sections further.
Will the door need new parts?
Sometimes. If the track is bent past saving, or a section folded, we quote the part at the door. A full set of nylon rollers starts at $210 and one section at $360.
